Pounding on Palestine

The logic of the jungle cannot produce a natural order among humankind. For such a relationship to work in the animal world, the weak party must continually show submission by exposing its neck and belly to the dominant party, and the strong party must continually strut its stuff. The Palestinian conflict endures after more than half a century is because the strong party is unconscionably greedy and the weak party is constitutionally incapable of being submissive or forgetting its dispossession.

Khatami Here! On C-SPAN! Now!

Former Iranian President Mohammad Khatami is in the United States!

In an interview to Time magazine, endorsed the two-state solution to achieve peace between Israel and Palestinians and called Holocaust a "historical fact."

He said opposition to Israel is moral.
The peaceful solution to the problem of Palestine is to recognise Palestinian rights. This is the only way there could be sustained peace in the region.

I believe the Holocaust is the crime of Nazism.

But it is possible that the Holocaust, which is an absolute fact, a historical fact, would be misused. The Holocaust should not be, in any way, an excuse for the suppression of Palestinian rights.
